Gross domestic product by industry, February 2019
Following 0.3% growth in January, gross domestic product contracted 0.1% in February as both goods-producing and services-producing industries declined. The 20 industrial sectors were nearly evenly split between gains and losses.
Industrial product and raw materials price indexes, March 2019
The Industrial Product Price Index rose 1.3% in March, mainly due to higher prices for energy and petroleum products. The Raw Materials Price Index increased 2.8%, primarily due to higher prices for crude energy products.
Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index, March 2019
The Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index (CMSPI) was unchanged in March for the second consecutive month.
Quarterly civil aviation statistics, fourth quarter 2018
The number of air carriers decreased from 26 in 2017 to 25 in 2018, as one Level II air carrier was reclassified to Level IV.
Aircraft movement statistics: Major airports, February 2019
Aircraft take-offs and landings at Canadian airports with NAV CANADA air traffic control towers and flight service stations decreased 3.8% in February. There were 90 airports that combined to reach 351,838 movements, compared with 91 airports totalling 365,673 movements in February 2018.
Monthly Passenger Bus and Urban Transit, February 2019
Total operating revenues (excluding subsidies) for urban transit companies totalled $317.5 million in February.
