Education indicators in Canada: An international perspective, 2017
In 2016, 91% of Canadians aged 25 to 64 had at least a high school diploma or postsecondary credential, well above the OECD average of 78%.
Canadians’ perceptions of personal safety and crime, 2014
According to the 2014 General Social Survey on Canadians’ safety (victimization), the majority of Canadians said they were satisfied (50%) or very satisfied (38%) with their personal safety from crime.
Amusement and recreation industry, 2016
Operating revenue for the amusement parks and arcades industry group increased 9.6% to $556.0 million in 2016, which coincided with recent investments in rides and attractions.
Automotive equipment rental and leasing, 2016
In 2016, the operating revenue for the automotive equipment rental and leasing industry group was $6.1 billion, up 4.8% from 2015. This coincided with an increase in tourism expenditures and the number of air travellers in Canada.
Specialized design services, 2016
The specialized design service industry group, which includes interior, industrial, graphic and other specialized design services, reported operating revenue of $2.8 billion in 2016, up 0.8% from a year earlier and following a 0.9% increase in 2015.
