Canada’s international investment position, third quarter 2016
Canada’s net foreign asset position increased by $31.5 billion in the third quarter to $115.3 billion, following two quarters of decline.
Employer pension plans (trusteed pension funds), second quarter 2016
The market value of employer-sponsored pension funds grew 1.8% in the second quarter to $1.7 trillion, following a 1.3% decline in the first quarter.
Stillbirths, 2012 and 2013
The number of stillbirths (or fetal deaths) in Canada rose from 2,818 in 2011 to 2,965 in 2012 and 3,072 in 2013. The gain from 2011 to 2012 was largely due to an increase in Ontario, where changes were made to the registration process.
