Payroll employment, earnings and hours, October 2015
Average weekly earnings of non-farm payroll employees were $959 in October, up 0.5% from the previous month. Compared with 12 months earlier, average weekly earnings increased by 1.9%.
Investment in new housing construction, October 2015
The value of investment in new residential building construction rose 4.3% year over year to $4.7 billion in October, following a 4.8% gain the previous month.
Pipeline transportation of crude oil and refined petroleum products, October 2015
Canadian pipeline net receipts of crude oil and condensates, and other liquefied petroleum products totalled 34.5 million cubic metres in October, up 2.5% from the same month last year.
Coal and coke statistics, October 2015
Monthly data for October on the production and export volumes of coal, by coal type and use, are now available. Data are available at the Canada level and by coal-producing province.
Construction Union Wage Rate Index, November 2015
The Construction Union Wage Rate Index (including supplements) for Canada was unchanged in November compared with the previous month. The composite index increased 1.3% in the 12 months to November.
