Consumer Price Index, January 2026
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 2.3% year over year in January, down from 2.4% in December. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, the CPI rose 0.1% in January.

Canada’s international transactions in securities, December 2025
Canadian investors acquired $13.1 billion of foreign securities in December, led by purchases of US shares. Meanwhile, foreign investors reduced their holdings of Canadian securities by $5.6 billion, following six consecutive months of investment totalling $145.4 billion.
Spectator sports, event promoters, artists and related industries, 2024
Operating revenue in the spectator sports, event promoters, artists and related industries rose 9.3% from 2023 to reach $13.8 billion in 2024. This marked the fourth consecutive year of growth for these industry groups, fuelled by ever-growing demand for live and in-person experiences following the removal of capacity restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
International trade in environmental and clean technology products by origin and destination, 2024
Canada exported $20.2 billion of environmental and clean technology (ECT) products in 2024, down 5.2% from 2023. The imports value of ECT products reached $35.8 billion in 2024, up 2.8% from the previous year. In 2024, ECT products accounted for 2.0% of Canada’s total imports and 3.5% of its total exports.
