Quarterly financial statistics for enterprises, fourth quarter 2018
Canadian corporations earned $105.2 billion in operating profit in the fourth quarter, down $4.3 billion or 3.9% from the third quarter but 8.7% higher than the fourth quarter of 2017.

Canadian Income Survey, 2017
Median after-tax income of Canadian families and unattached individuals rose 3.3% to $59,800 in 2017, following two years without growth.
Travel and tourism
Visitor Travel Survey, third quarter 2018
Travellers from abroad made 11.9 million trips to Canada in the third quarter (July to September), up slightly from the third quarter of 2017, spending an estimated $8.7 billion.
National Travel Survey, third quarter 2018
Canadian residents made 112 million trips within Canada and abroad in the third quarter, spending $29.1 billion. Over 90% of all trips by Canadians during the quarter involved travel within the country, with two-thirds (66.5%) of overall travel expenditures spent on travel in Canada.

Railway carloadings, December 2018
The volume of rail freight carried in Canada totalled 32.7 million tonnes in December, up 6.5% from the same month a year earlier.
