Canadian international merchandise trade, November 2019
Canada’s merchandise exports declined 1.4% in November, while imports were down 2.4%. As a result, Canada’s merchandise trade deficit with the world narrowed from $1.6 billion in October to $1.1 billion in November.

In November, Canada’s monthly deficit in international trade in services widened by $108 million to $1.5 billion. The expanding deficit was entirely due to a lower surplus for commercial services, as the deficits for travel services and transportation services both narrowed.
