Building permits, May 2018
The value of permits issued by Canadian municipalities increased 4.7% to $8.2 billion in May. This followed a 4.7% drop in April, the only month this year where municipalities reported a total value below the $8.0 billion mark.
Crude oil and natural gas: Supply and disposition, April 2018
Canada produced 20.3 million cubic metres (127.5 million barrels) of crude oil and equivalent products in April, up 12.5% from the same month a year ago.
Farm Input Price Index, first quarter 2018
The Farm Input Price Index increased 0.8% in the first quarter, led by higher prices for general business costs (+2.1%) and machinery and motor vehicles (+1.1%).

Asphalt roofing, May 2018
Shipments of asphalt shingles totalled 3.8 million metric bundles in May, up 25.1% from the previous month. Compared with May 2017, shipments were 11.6% higher.
