Airport activity, 2015
Air passenger traffic at Canadian airports was up 2.7% from 2014 to 133.4 million in 2015. Since the economic slowdown of 2009, passenger traffic has increased for six consecutive years.
Production and disposition of tobacco products, June 2016
Canadian manufacturers produced 1.9 billion cigarettes in June, down 4.9% from May. Cigarette production increased 2.0% from June 2015.
Oilseed crushing statistics, June 2016
Oilseed processors crushed 702 716 tonnes of canola in June. Oil production totalled 306 037 tonnes, while meal production was 399 564 tonnes.
Milled wheat and wheat flour produced, May 2016
Millers milled 245 211 tonnes of wheat in May, while wheat flour production totalled 185 456 tonnes.
