Crop Condition Assessment Program, 2019
As of May 26, 2019, crop development was much lower to lower than the average (as observed from 1987 to 2018) for most parts of Canada, according to the Crop Condition Assessment Program.

Lumber production increased by 18.7% from February to 5 528.3 thousand cubic metres in March. Production was 5.3% lower than in March 2018.
