Canada’s international transactions in securities, January 2021
Foreign investment in Canadian securities totalled $1.3 billion in January, the lowest investment in six months. Meanwhile, Canadian investors acquired $3.5 billion in foreign securities, down considerably from a $26.9 billion investment in December.

Canadian air carriers transported 94.1 million passengers in 2019, up 0.8% from the previous year. The growth in passengers was the 10th consecutive increase in traffic following the economic downturn in 2009.

By the tenth year after landing, about 15% to 20% of adult immigrants who landed between 2000 and 2004 were estimated to have emigrated from Canada, depending on the definition and data sources used to estimate emigration. Emigration refers to leaving Canada to settle in another country.
