Investment in building construction, March 2019
Total investment in building construction decreased 1.2% in March to $14.2 billion.
Milled wheat and wheat flour produced, Canada and United States, 2017 and 2018
Canadian millers milled 3 190 189 tonnes of wheat in 2018, up 3.7% from 2017, while total flour produced grew to 2 403 490 tonnes, an increase of 2.8% compared with the previous year.
Sports for fun and fitness
Many Canadians love to play sports, whether it be for reasons of physical health and fitness, a family or recreational activity, or to compete. Over one in four Canadians (27%) aged 15 and older regularly participated in sports in 2016, with hockey (of course) topping the list.
Data tables: Gender Results Framework indicators
Statistics Canada’s Centre for Gender, Diversity and Inclusion Statistics has released new data tables on a number of gender-related topics. These statistics will be used by the Gender Results Framework, a whole-of-government tool designed to track gender equality in Canada.
