People in Canada tend to report having high levels of satisfaction with their local environment. This infographic showcases selected data from Wave 2 of the Canadian Social Survey (August to September 2021). Visuals highlight data for the population aged 15 years and older in Canada’s 10 provinces who reported a high level of satisfaction with their local environment, by age, gender, geographic region, and the outdoor activities in which they chose to participate over the past year.

Uniform Crime Reporting Survey linked to the Integrated Criminal Court Survey, 2010/2011 to 2019/2020
Data from the Uniform Crime Reporting Survey linked to the Integrated Criminal Court Survey are now available. The dataset includes selected variables for police-reported incidents that could be linked to court cases completed in Canada’s adult criminal and youth courts between 2010/2011 and 2019/2020. The purpose of this linked file is to examine characteristics, such as the outcomes of completed cases, the sentences imposed, and the time required to complete cases, with a particular focus on cases involving intimate partner violence.
