Gross domestic product by industry, August 2016
Real gross domestic product rose 0.2% in August, following a 0.4% increase in July. The output of goods-producing industries rose while service-producing industries were essentially unchanged.
Characteristics of international overnight travellers, 2015 (final)
Canadian residents made 32.3 million overnight trips abroad in 2015, spending $39.7 billion. Of these trips, 20.7 million were to the United States, accounting for $19.9 billion worth of spending.
