Manufacturing sales edged down 0.2% in September to $57.4 billion, following a 0.8% increase in August.

The volume of Canada’s non-residential and residential net capital stock increased 1.9% in 2018.
Experimental monthly estimates of international trade in services, September 2019
Experimental estimates of Canada’s international trade in services are now available upon request. This release includes data for September, as well as revised data for January 2007 to August 2019.
Remaining useful service life ratios of non-residential capital stock, 2017
In 2017, because of changes in investment patterns, the share of Canadian non-residential capital stock’s remaining useful service life edged down 0.3 percentage points to 65.4%—its lowest level since 2012.
Food services and drinking places, September 2019
On a seasonally adjusted basis, sales in the food services and drinking places subsector increased 0.6% to $6.2 billion in September. Higher sales were reported in limited-service restaurants (+0.8%), full-service restaurants (+0.8%) and drinking places (+1.0%), whereas sales in special food services decreased 1.5%.
