The volume of Canada’s non-residential and residential net capital stock increased 1.9% in 2017. In value, Canadian net capital stock totalled $4.9 trillion.
Consolidated Canadian Government Finance Statistics, 2017
The net operating deficit of the consolidated Canadian General Government—federal, provincial-territorial and local governments combined—was $8.9 billion in 2017, down from $16.9 billion in 2016.

Travel between Canada and other countries, September 2018
Travel to Canada by residents of overseas countries (countries other than the United States) rose 1.4% in September to 556,000 trips. This was the second consecutive monthly advance.
Quarterly civil aviation statistics, second quarter 2018
The number of air carriers decreased from 26 in 2017 to 25 in 2018, as one Level II air carrier was reclassified to Level IV. Total operating revenue for the 25 largest Canadian air carriers increased 8.4% from the second quarter of 2017 to $6.3 billion in the second quarter. Total operating expenses grew 14.8% to $6.1 billion, mainly driven by higher fuel prices year over year and by the increase in capacity.
