Study: Recent changes in demographic trends in Canada
The population profile of the provinces and territories could become increasingly different in the decades ahead, because of changing demographic trends.

Canada’s available electricity totalled 41.0 million megawatt hours (MWh) in August, down 2.9% from the same month in 2014. Generation levels were also lower for the month, down 1.9% to 46.5 million MWh, reflecting lower output from hydro and nuclear generators.
Study: Flu vaccination rates in Canada, 2003 to 2013–2014
Almost one-third of Canadians aged 12 and older got a flu vaccination in 2013–2014. The latest data from the Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS) revealed that the percentage of people who got a flu vaccination was higher in 2013–2014 than in 2003 in all provinces and territories, except Ontario.

Canadian manufacturers produced 2.0 billion cigarettes in September, up 18.7% from August. Cigarette production increased 12.4% from the same month a year earlier.
