Criminal victimization in the territories, 2014
Over one-quarter (28%) of territorial residents aged 15 years and older reported in 2014 that they had been the victim of one of the eight crimes measured by the General Social Survey in the previous 12 months. This was down from the proportion reported in 2009 (34%), but remains higher than the figure reported in the provinces (18%).
