Consumer Price Index, July 2019
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 2.0% on a year-over-year basis in July, matching the increase in June. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, the CPI increased 0.4%.

Total investment in building construction decreased 0.9% in June to $15.1 billion.

Health Reports: Unperceived hearing loss among Canadians aged 40 to 79
Many Canadians are unaware that they have experienced some level of hearing loss. Based on audiometric testing, an estimated 54% of Canadians aged 40 to 79 (8.2 million) have at least mild hearing loss in the high-frequency range, but 77% of them (6.3 million) had not perceived any loss of hearing.
Travel between Canada and other countries, June 2019
US residents made fewer trips to Canada by car in June compared with May, while the number of US arrivals by plane increased. The number of arrivals to Canada from the United States for the first six months of the year was the highest observed for this same period since 2007.
