Quarterly financial statistics for enterprises, fourth quarter 2025
Canadian corporations reported operating profit of $205.6 billion in the fourth quarter, up $2.0 billion (+1.0%) from the third quarter. This increase was driven by the non-financial industries and supported by the financial industries. Compared with the same quarter in 2024, Canadian corporations’ operating profit increased by $14.1 billion (+7.4%).
Non-residential capital and repair expenditures, 2024 (revised), 2025 (preliminary) and 2026 (intentions)
Total capital expenditures by businesses and governments on non-residential tangible capital assets are expected to increase by 3.7% to reach $401.2 billion in 2026.

Food services and drinking places, December 2025
Total sales in the food services and drinking places subsector decreased 0.3% to $8.6 billion in December.
Oilseed crushing and major grain deliveries statistics, January 2026
Oilseed processors crushed 1.1 million tonnes of canola in January, down 2.2% from December and up 4.2% from January 2025. Oil production reached 449.2 thousand tonnes in January 2026, while meal production was 618.3 thousand tonnes.
Annual Mineral Production Survey, 2024
Mineral production estimates from the Annual Mineral Production Survey are now available for the 2024 reference year. These data are published together with the 2025 preliminary estimates of mineral production in Canada.
Wholesale trade: Early indicator, January 2026
Statistics Canada is providing an advance estimate of sales in the wholesale trade sector for January. The advance results for January indicate that wholesale sales (excluding petroleum, petroleum products, and other hydrocarbons and excluding oilseed and grain) fell 0.6%. The decrease reflects lower sales in the motor vehicle and motor vehicle parts and accessories subsector.
