Stalking in Canada, 2014
Although the overall prevalence of self-reported stalking in Canada decreased from 9% in 2004 to 6% in 2014, the ways in which victims experienced stalking have changed with increased use of technology.
Multiple sclerosis: Prevalence and impact
Estimates from individual provinces suggest that the prevalence of multiple sclerosis (MS) among Canadians may be one of the highest in the world. A new study released today in the publication Health Reports provides information on the impact MS has on people’s lives, such as mobility, pain, sleep and cognition. About two-thirds of those diagnosed reported that their lives were affected moderately, quite a bit, or extremely by MS.
Canada’s natural resource wealth, 2016
Lower oil and mineral prices combined to drive down the value of natural resource assets in 2016. Overall, the value of Canada’s natural resource assets totalled $372 billion, down 12% from 2015. The decrease followed a 60% decline a year earlier.

Lumber production rose 6.3% from September to 5 991.0 thousand cubic metres of lumber in October. Production was 1.2% higher than in October 2016.
