Police-reported crime statistics, 2015

Police-reported crime in Canada, as measured by both the Crime Severity Index (CSI) and the crime rate, increased in 2015. This marked the first rise in police-reported crime in 12 years. The CSI grew 5% from 2014 to 2015, but was 31% lower than it was a decade earlier in 2005.

Health Reports: Increasing survival from leukemia among adolescents and adults in Canada: A closer look

Five-year relative survival ratios for adolescents and adults diagnosed with leukemia in Canada improved more than the ratio for almost any other type of cancer from 1992 to 2008. A new study shows that the increase in survival varied depending on the type of leukemia.
