Railway carloadings, May 2016
The volume of rail freight carried in Canada totalled 27.7 million tonnes in May, an 8.2% decrease from the same month last year. In contrast, from May 2011 to May 2016, the total volume of rail freight carried in Canada increased 5.4%.
Monthly civil aviation statistics, May 2016
The six Canadian Level I air carriers flew 5.7 million passengers on scheduled and charter services in May, up 5.0% from the same month in 2015.
