Gross domestic product by industry, May 2019
Real gross domestic product was up for a third consecutive month in May, rising 0.2%. The increase was led by a rebound in manufacturing with 13 out of 20 industrial sectors expanding.
Industrial product and raw materials price indexes, June 2019
Prices for products manufactured in Canada were down 1.4% in June, driven primarily by lower prices for energy and petroleum products. Prices for raw materials purchased by manufacturers operating in Canada decreased 5.9%, mainly due to lower prices for crude energy products.
Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index, June 2019
The Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index (CMSPI) was up 0.4% in June, after increasing 0.9% in May.
Home health care and related services, 2017
The operating revenue for home health care and related services totalled $5.4 billion in 2017, up 5.1% from $5.1 billion in 2016.
Railway carloadings, May 2019
The volume of rail freight carried in Canada totalled 34.4 million tonnes in May, up 7.8% from the same month a year earlier.
Monthly civil aviation statistics, May 2019
The six Canadian Level I air carriers flew 6.8 million passengers on scheduled and charter services in May, up 2.9% from May 2018 and continuing the upward year-over-year monthly trend that began in April 2014. This followed a 4.6% gain in April 2019 and represented the smallest increase in 13 months.
