National tourism indicators, first quarter 2022
Tourism spending in Canada grew 1.3% in the first quarter of 2022, a fourth consecutive quarterly increase. Tourism gross domestic product (+0.9%) and jobs attributable to tourism (+0.8%) also rose in the first quarter.

Study: Graduates of 2010 to 2018 receiving payments from the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) program in 2020
Today, Statistics Canada is releasing a research paper entitled “Graduates of 2010 to 2018 receiving payments from the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) program in 2020.” This paper examines the characteristics of postsecondary graduates who were most and least likely to have received CERB payments in 2020 based on various educational and socioeconomic characteristics.
