Building permits, April 2021
The total value of building permits remained at historically high levels in April 2021, edging down 0.5% to $11.1 billion, following the record set in March.

Survey of Non-Bank Mortgage Lenders, fourth quarter 2020
The total value of outstanding residential mortgages held by non-bank lenders was at relatively the same level in the fourth quarter of 2020 as in the third quarter (-0.2%), at $337.5 billion. The overall number of outstanding mortgages was also relatively unchanged (-0.2%), at 1,719,900. The average value of outstanding non-bank mortgages edged up to $196,261 from $196,077.

Accessibility Data Hub
The Accessibility Data Hub is now available for all users. The hub is a centralized location presenting data on topics related to accessibility and disability through data tables, articles, infographics and an interactive data visualization tool. In line with the Accessible Canada Act, the hub includes data on key areas such as built environment, design and delivery of programs and services, employment, information and communication technology, and transportation. In addition, the hub allow users to find external governmental data sources as well as information about laws related to accessibility.
