Canada’s international investment position, fourth quarter 2017
Canada’s net foreign asset position rose by $115.4 billion to a record $400.7 billion in the fourth quarter. Compared with the end of 2016, the net asset position nearly doubled in 2017 on the strength of foreign stock markets.

According to the Canadian Armed Forces Transition and Well-being Survey (CAFTWS), the transition experience varied among Regular Force members who were released in 2016. The CAFTWS was designed to provide a better understanding of the transition experiences of recently released Regular Force members and their families, including participating spouses or partners.
