Provincial and Territorial Culture Indicators, 2014
Culture activities accounted for 3.0% of Canada’s total gross domestic product (GDP) and 3.5% of jobs in 2014. Among the provinces and territories, culture’s share of GDP ranged from 1.3% in Saskatchewan to 3.8% in Ontario.
Leading indicator of cross-border traveller volume, April 2016 (preliminary)
Statistics Canada is releasing a new leading indicator of cross-border travel from the United States to Canada. This indicator will be released 10 days following the reference month.
Cement, March 2016
Cement manufacturers produced 0.79 million tonnes of cement products in March, an increase of 47.1% compared with February, and a gain of 3.5% from March 2015.
