Canadian Survey on Disability, 2017
An estimated one in five Canadians (or 6.2 million) aged 15 years and over had one or more disabilities that limited them in their daily activities, according to new findings from the 2017 Canadian Survey on Disability.

Canadian general government—federal, provincial-territorial and local combined—spent $177.3 billion or $4,830 per person in 2017, on social protection which includes programs to help children, the elderly, those in low income, the unemployed and the disabled.
Canadian postsecondary enrolments and graduates, 2016/2017
Enrolments in Canadian public colleges and universities totalled 2,048,574 in 2016/2017, up 1.3% (+26,811) from the previous academic year. Enrolments of international students rose by 11.7% (+25,581), largely accounting for the increase in overall enrolments. Meanwhile, the number of Canadian students was virtually unchanged (+300).
Railway carloadings, September 2018
The volume of rail freight carried in Canada totalled 32.9 million tonnes in September, up 3.1% from the same month a year earlier.
Poultry and egg statistics, November 2018
Stocks of frozen poultry meat in cold storage increased 1.7% from November 1, 2017, to 89 861 tonnes on November 1. This increase comes mainly from Ontario, where stocks of frozen poultry meat in cold storage were 42 073 tonnes, up 10.3% from the previous year. Ontario continued to hold the largest share of frozen poultry meat stocks, accounting for 46.8% of stocks on November 1, 2018.
