Wholesale trade, August 2019
Wholesale sales were down 1.2% to $64.3 billion in August, largely offsetting the 1.4% gain in July. Declines were recorded in five of seven subsectors, representing 85% of wholesale sales.
Canada’s international trade in services, 2018
Canada’s deficit on international transactions in services contracted by $1.8 billion in 2018 to $21.4 billion. This change reflected a rise in the commercial services surplus coupled with a narrowing travel services deficit.
