Canada’s international investment position, second quarter 2016
Canada’s net foreign asset position decreased by $106.8 billion in the second quarter to $149.0 billion. This was the second consecutive quarter of significant decline.
Study: Overqualification, skills and job satisfaction, 2012
In 2012, about one in eight workers aged 25 to 64 with a university degree were identified as overqualified for their job because they reported that their job required no more than a high school education.
Supply and disposition of refined petroleum products, June 2016
Canadian refineries received 7.2 million cubic metres of crude oil in June, down 12.3% from the same month in 2015. This was the third consecutive month of year-over-year decline.
Cement, July 2016
Cement manufacturers produced 1.22 million tonnes of cement products in July, up 3.7% compared with June, but down 6.8% from July 2015.
