Gross domestic product by industry, July 2015
Real gross domestic product grew 0.3% in July, after rising 0.4% in June. The growth in June and July followed five consecutive monthly declines from January to May. The increase in July was led by mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction, manufacturing, and the finance and insurance sector.

Food services and drinking places, July 2015
Sales in the economy’s food services and drinking places subsector increased 0.9% in July to $5.0 billion, more than offsetting the decline in June. Prices for food purchased from restaurants rose 2.7% in the 12 months to July.
