Canadian international merchandise trade, July 2018
Canada’s merchandise trade deficit with the world narrowed from $743 million in June to $114 million in July, the smallest deficit since the most recent surplus in December 2016. Exports increased 0.8%, while imports declined 0.4%.

The monthly chain Fisher real dollar values (reference year 2007) for Canadian international merchandise trade are available for July.
Export and import price indexes, July 2018
Current-weighted and fixed-weighted export and import price indexes (2007=100) on a customs or balance of payments basis are now available, based on the 2007 North American Product Classification System.

Tuition fees increased for both undergraduate and graduate students for the 2018/2019 academic year. However, the actual cost that students pay varies depending on the grants and financial assistance they may receive.
Labour productivity, hourly compensation and unit labour cost, second quarter 2018
Labour productivity of Canadian businesses rose 0.7% in the second quarter, the highest growth since the first quarter of 2017 (+1.4%). This follows a 0.3% decrease in the first quarter.
Asphalt roofing, July 2018
Shipments of asphalt shingles totalled 3.8 million metric bundles in July, down 9.3% from June. Year over year, shipments were 11.2% higher in July.
