Canadian international merchandise trade, July 2022
In July, Canada’s merchandise exports decreased 2.8%, while imports were down 1.8%. As a result, Canada’s merchandise trade surplus with the world narrowed from $4.9 billion in June to $4.1 billion in July. So far in 2022, trade surpluses have been observed in every month.
Tuition fees for degree programs, 2022/2023
Nationally, Canadian students enrolled full-time in undergraduate programs will pay, on average, $6,834 in tuition for the upcoming 2022/2023 academic year, up 2.6% from the previous year.
Canadian international trade in services, July 2022
Canada’s monthly international trade in services deficit widened from $1.2 billion in June to $1.8 billion in July. Overall, imports of services increased 3.7% to $14.4 billion, while exports edged down 0.1% to $12.7 billion.
Stocks of principal field crops, July 31, 2022
Total stocks of wheat, canola, barley, oats, dry peas and lentils were all down as of July 31 compared with the same period one year earlier. Lower stocks were largely the result of lower total supply for the 2021/2022 crop year, which was because of low production in 2021, which was caused by drought in Western Canada.

Canadian Income Survey: Income-related information by disability status, 2013 – 2020
The Canadian Income Survey (CIS) is a cross-sectional survey developed to provide a portrait of the income and income sources of Canadians, with their individual and household characteristics. The CIS identifies persons with disabilities using the Disability Screening Questions, which are based on the social model of disability, and were asked of one randomly selected household member aged 16 years and older.
