The Fraser Institute: How Will Supreme Court Ruling Affect First Nations Treaty Negotiations, Resource Projects Across Canada? New Study Coming Thursday, July 10

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA–(July 9, 2014) – On Thursday, July 10, the Fraser Institute will release a new study dissecting the recent Supreme Court of Canada ruling, which granted more than 1,700 square kilometres of land in B.C.’s Interior to the Tsilhqot’in First Nation.

The study, A Real Game Changer, spotlights the ruling’s potential impact on natural resource and economic development, and treaty negotiations across Canada.
