Z’gamok Mining (ZMLP) has completed assembly of the 625 Manitou on 3950L and has begun installation of the 12-ton hitch and hoist to support assembly of the scissor deck in the lower mine to assist Vale with repair and construction project supporting production. In addition to this work, the team will be disassembling the existing scissor truck used during the 1850L development project, demobilizing the unit to make room for Vale crews on the level, and preparing it for reassembly and redeployment for future opportunities.

ZMLP is currently engaged in discussions regarding two promising projects at Totten, including the rehabilitation of 650L, which would involve installation of new ground support, a bulkhead, and a shotcrete wall, as well as dewatering of the level to support a planned Diamond Drilling Program. In the lower mine, discussions are also underway regarding Vale’s planned ventilation upgrade program, steel ventilation will be installed throughout the mine to replace the existing soft ventilation to improve overall air quality.
