Intended for First Nations communities and organizations, this guide offers a simplified approach to planning and conducting consultation with external stakeholders concerned with the territory targeted by your protected area project.
Important note: The guide focuses specifically on external concertation. It is not intended to replace an internal community mobilization process, which would require a separate, tailored approach.
These two tools are part of a global approach aimed at strengthening First Nations’ ability to manage their territorial projects with a strategic, collaborative vision that respects ecosystems.
