A meet and greet Thursday with the controversial leader of an upstart conservative political party has been moved after a Kamloops hotel pulled the plug.
Vancouver-Quilchena MLA Dallas Brodie, leader of the OneBC Party, is visiting Kamloops this week for a series of events. On Wednesday, she was one of the headliners at an unsanctioned event on the campus of Thompson Rivers University.
Brodie was slated to speak at a meet and greet Thursday at the Coast Kamloops Hotel and Conference Centre at 11:30 a.m., discussing “Aboriginal title claims in Kamloops, property rights and the need for constitutional change,” according to the party website.
