WKR at Kitikmeot Trade Show 2026 – WKR

WKR was pleased to attend the Kitikmeot Trade Show this week in Cambridge Bay. This year’s theme, “Arctic Sovereignty: A Way Forward” was particularly relevant.

We are excited about potential collaboration opportunities with Wade Hawkins’s drone lab at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), and Ocean Networks Canada’s impressive Arctic and community-based oceanography programs, represented by Andrew Baron.

We appreciate the continued support from the Kitikmeot Chamber of Commerce and Wilf Wilcox, who spoke about the importance of Grays Bay to the Kitikmeot Region and for Canadian Arctic sovereignty.
